EKOL s.r.o. has successfully delivered a new immersion processing line for steel blackening to the company Wikov Sázavan s.r.o.

The new equipment replaces the original manual line and represents its modern, fully automatic version. Key improvements include automatic transport using a manipulator, the ability to process parts in a drum, and the addition of multi-stage rinsing and economical rinsing systems. These enhancements not only increase rinsing quality but also significantly reduce water and chemical consumption.

The line is designed for a wide range of steel components. In addition to blackening, the system allows operators to use only selected sections of the line by choosing the appropriate program — for example, to degrease parts between operations, such as after machining and before assembly or painting.

The equipment allows processing of parts in baskets, on hangers, and in drums, which increases its flexibility and range of applications.

The line is controlled via a touch panel with modern process visualization. The system records all measured data and operator interventions, includes operating‑hour counters for each motor, and offers remote access capabilities, facilitating easier servicing and continuous monitoring of the operation.
