We delivered a modern automatic through-feed powder coating line, equipped with a dual-rail overhead "power & free" conveyor system that ensures flexible and efficient transport of parts throughout the entire process.
Step-by-Step Surface Preparation Line
Surface treatment is carried out in a three-chamber spray machine with full spray coverage and oscillation in each chamber:
- Chamber 1: Alkaline degreasing and pre-rinse
- Chamber 2: Two-stage rinse and demineralized water spray
- Chamber 3: Final demineralized rinse and passivation
The final chamber is directly followed by a step-by-step drying oven with direct air heating via a gas burner, ensuring fast and even drying of the treated parts.
Advanced GEMA Powder Coating Booth
The coating process takes place in a GEMA powder booth made of plastic sandwich panels, allowing for quick color changes. The booth is equipped with:
- Cyclone separation
- Powder recycling system
- Final filter
Integrated scanning systems automatically adjust the position of the spray guns based on the shape of each part and perform oscillation in both X and Y axes to ensure complete coverage of all surfaces. At the booth exit, an extraction platform is available for manual touch-up spraying.
Energy-Efficient Curing Oven
Curing is performed in a through-feed oven with indirect gas heating, featuring a pre-chamber with four automatically controlled doors to minimize heat loss. After curing, parts are cooled naturally.
Intelligent Control and Environmental Solutions
The entire system is managed by a central control unit with process visualization and operational data archiving. The line also includes:
- An automatic demineralized water production station
- A semi-automatic wastewater treatment unit, ensuring safe discharge into the sewage system
